K\u00fcrten, March 16, 2026<\/strong> \u2013 Adventure Country Tracks e.V. is expanding its<\/p>

offering for adventure motorcyclists with a new format: ACT Ride & Train.<\/p>

For the first time, the concept combines professional off-road riding<\/p>

training with real adventure routes on the well-known ACT Tracks \u2013<\/p>

directly in the terrain and under real riding conditions.<\/p>

The first edition will start in May 2026 in France and is aimed at riders<\/p>

who want to systematically improve their off-road skills without missing<\/p>

out on the experience of a true adventure journey.<\/p>

Adventure Route Meets Riding Training<\/b><\/p>

With Ride & Train, ACT is introducing a new approach: training does not<\/p>

take place on a closed practice ground but directly on the routes where<\/p>

adventure motorcycles are actually ridden.<\/p>

Instead of separating training and touring, both elements are deliberately<\/p>

combined. Participants ride a modified version of an ACT Track, while<\/p>

targeted exercises and individual guidance from the instructors are<\/p>

integrated directly into the daily riding experience.<\/p>

The concept focuses on small groups, personal feedback and real learning<\/p>

experiences in the terrain. Two certified ACT instructors accompany a<\/p>

maximum of ten participants and adapt exercises and pace to the terrain,<\/p>

weather and riding level.<\/p>

Typical training topics may include:<\/p>

\u2022<\/span> Balance and slow riding in off-road terrain<\/p>

\u2022<\/span> Riding techniques on loose surfaces<\/p>

\u2022<\/span> Line selection and body positioning<\/p>

\u2022<\/span> Steep uphill and downhill riding<\/p>

\u2022<\/span> Combined riding sequences in natural terrain<\/p>

The goal is to gradually build more safety, control and confidence on<\/p>

adventure motorcycles \u2013 exactly where it will later be needed: on gravel<\/p>

roads, forest tracks and remote trails.<\/p>

First Edition in France<\/b><\/p>

The first ACT Ride & Train France will take place from May 24 to May 30,<\/p>

2026. Arrival is scheduled for May 23, with departure on May 31.<\/p>

France, with its diverse landscapes, long gravel sections and quiet<\/p>

backcountry roads, offers ideal conditions for this format. The route is<\/p>

based on the approximately 970-kilometer ACT France Track, which runs<\/p>

from the Vercors Massif to the Pyrenees and is considered one of the most<\/p>

diverse ACT routes.<\/p>

In addition to daily riding, the program includes preparation, bike setup<\/p>

sessions, joint briefings and evening debriefs. This creates an intensive<\/p>

learning and travel experience where riding skills, nature and group<\/p>

dynamics merge into one cohesive adventure.<\/p>

Demand Will Determine Future Dates<\/b><\/p>

With Ride & Train, ACT responds to a frequent request from the<\/p>

community: many adventure riders want to experience ACT Tracks but<\/p>

still feel uncertain on more challenging sections or want to further develop<\/p>

their riding technique.<\/p>

If the new format proves popular, additional dates and regions are already<\/p>

planned. Alongside France, Portugal and Italyare potential next Ride &<\/p>

Train destinations for 2026.<\/p>

The number of participants is intentionally limited to ensure intensive<\/p>

About Adventure Country Tracks<\/b><\/p>

Adventure Country Tracks\u00ae (ACT) is a European network for motorcycle adventure travelers. Since 2016, the association has been developing legal off-road routes for adventure motorcycles and releases a new ACT Track in Europe each year. The GPX tracks are available for members to download in the protected area of the ACT website.<\/p>

Existing routes include Portugal, Italy, the Pyrenees, Romania, Greece, the United Kingdom, Croatia, Albania and Montenegro as well as France.<\/p>

Each route is accompanied by a professionally produced ACT film and follows the core values of the organization: respect for nature, local communities and existing regulations.<\/p>
