A weekend full of adventure and community

From 18 to 21 July 2024, over 140 off-road enthusiasts met at MSC Kleinhau to experience the unique ACT spirit and enjoy a weekend full of variety.

The participants once again had the rare opportunity to test their driving skills on a motocross track. In addition, this year there was a challenging single track for the experienced riders to explore with the support of a guide.

Throughout the weekend, participants were able to take part in various competitions and lectures or take part in a two-hour crash course with instructors from Endurocenter Mammutpark and motorinstructeur.nl to build up the confidence they need to make their first attempts on the well-prepared 1800 metre track.

If you didn’t want to use your own motorbike, you could also use one of the six different LC4 set-up machines from ACT partner KTM. Those who preferred to be on the road could take a short tour through the Eifel using the machines provided by Touratech, including Touratech suspension, or join the experienced ACT members Frank and Chris, who accompanied a guided tour through the Eifel.

Various stations invited the participants to put their skills and competitive spirit to the test. The slow-motion course proved to be challenging and the limbo competition was particularly fun.

At the Tourenfahrer Team stand, the tyre patching contest with Thomas Kryschan proved that a flat tyre on the road doesn’t have to be a big problem if you have the right equipment with you.

Depending on the competition, you had to be slow enough, fast enough or deep enough to win one of the prizes totalling over €3,000 provided by KTM, Metzeler, Nexx, REVI`IT!, Sena, Touratech and Yamaha.

In between all the action-packed activities, participants were able to stroll along the dealer mile, where experts from Touratech, KTM, Husqvarna, GasGas, Yamaha and Enduro Centre Mammutpark were on hand. Garmin offered a workshop, Teresa Peters from REV’IT! reported on her experiences on the ACT tracks and ACT’s Uwe and Bernd presented their customised first aid kit. After two days of riding fun, the last evening ended on a relaxed note with a travel talk by Johann Pfeiffenberger about “Morocco on detours”.

The atmosphere among the participants was consistently warm and characterised by enthusiasm. Happy and satisfied faces could be seen everywhere. The hosts and the ACT team can look back on a successful weekend amongst like-minded people. A weekend without any major injuries and with many positive memories – the second edition of the ACT Camp is already making us look forward to next year.

ACT e.V. would like to thank all participants, sponsors and helpers for an unforgettable weekend and is looking forward to ACT Camp 2025!
