What is this about

THIS IS ACT CAMP

The ACT community is thriving, and it’s all thanks to the energy and passion each of you brings. 🚀 Your enthusiasm inspires us to take things beyond quick meetups on the trail or interactions in our Facebook group.

We want to create something bigger—a chance for everyone to connect face-to-face, build real friendships, and share meaningful conversations.

Our vision? It’s all about community and camaraderie. This isn’t about individual achievements or competition; it’s about sharing the pure joy of adventure and discovery. Whether you’re scoring big or ending the day with zero points, as long as everyone’s having a blast, we call it a win. 🎉

But we need your help to make this vision a reality! If you’re excited to contribute and help us elevate the third ACT Camp into something extraordinary, we’d love for you to join in. Whether it’s your time, ideas, or energy, you can make a difference!

Would you like to give a talk about your ACT journey? Is there something you would like to share with us? Can you imagine leading a tour or supervising the fire? Just reach out to us at info@adventurecountrytracks.com

Let’s come together, celebrate what we love, and create unforgettable memories as a united adventure community. Stay tuned for updates, and get ready to make ACT Camp an event to remember! 🏍✨

The Location

Last year, we felt completely at home on the grounds of the MSC Kleinhau. It was fantastic! There are plenty of camping spots where your motorhomes can also fit, there are showers, toilets, a clubhouse, an event tent, space for the campfire – there’s really nothing left to be desired. For us, there is hardly a better place for an ACT meeting than Kleinhau.

Even the journey there whets the appetite for more: Kleinhau, a district of the municipality of Hürtgenwald in the district of Düren, North Rhine-Westphalia, is located in the border triangle near Aachen. On the outskirts of the village in the direction of Brandenberg, there is an 1800 metre-long motocross track run by MSC-Kleinhau. The MSC-Kleinhau will be our host this year and we are looking forward to working together.

If you are travelling with a tent, you will find a place on the adjacent tent meadow. The wind turbines are quite loud, so don’t forget your earplugs. Kleinhau and the surrounding area also offers a selection of clean double and multi-bed rooms.

Toilets and showers are available at the clubhouse and at the end of the dealer area. Additional WC containers will be placed on the camping area.

On-Site operations & volunteer support

To ensure a safe and smooth event, we rely on the support of our participants on site. We will need volunteers for track marshaling, and everyone is encouraged to take a turn. In addition, specific helpers are required to manage and control access to the track.

All volunteers will be provided with a high-visibility vest and a walkie-talkie. Both items should be handed over to the next person after your shift. The handover takes place directly at your assigned post.

Sign-up sheets will be available on site for all volunteer roles—this system has worked very well in previous years.

We also kindly ask qualified participants to register as first responders on a dedicated list available at the venue.

This year there will again be partner tickets in combination with a member ticket for 49€. The partner tickets only includes camping.

  • Test Rides
  • Workshops
  • T-shirt, Stickers, Lanyard
  • Contests
  • Motocross Track from moderately difficult to demanding

Food is not included. We will be catered by MSC Kleinhau. To be able to plan better, we need to know the number of meals to be provided.

There is a food package for this (+105€). Without the purchase of a food package, we will not provide meals for you and you will have to take care of yourself. The MSC Kleinhau will provide meals for the booked food packages, so we want to avoid having to throw away food afterwards.
The food package (99€)  contains the following:

  • 2 free drinks
  • Breakfast Friday, Saturday, Sunday
  • Lunch Friday, Saturday
  • BBQ on Thursday, dinner Friday & BBQ again for Saturday
(We try to offer a vegetarian alternative to the BBQ, but you can also bring your own vegetarian options to the barbecue)

As it will not be possible to serve all meals at the same time, meals will be organized in two groups.

Please be prepared for possible waiting times. Upon registration, you will receive meal tokens: blue for the first group and yellow for the second group.

Slowmotion Contest

WHO can be the SLOWEST ?

The Slow Motion Contest – powered by Touratech has been a true highlight of our program for years and has always guaranteed a lot of fun.

The challenge is simple: who can ride their bike the slowest across the course without touching the ground? Time is measured in seconds, and every time a foot touches the ground, penalty points are deducted.

So stay balanced, keep your nerves steady, and roll as slowly as possible to the finish – who will master it best?

Ride & train sessions

This year, we are proud to be supported by our own ACT Ride & Train instructors.

We will be offering dedicated Ride & Train sessions twice a day. In each session, up to 12 participants have the opportunity to spend one hour riding their own motorcycles – fully loaded with their travel luggage – to experience what handling a heavily packed bike really feels like.

The MX track will be exclusively available as the training ground during these sessions and will be closed to all other riders for that time. Track watering can be arranged if required.

Basic training

Our Basic Skills Training, also led by our experienced ACT Ride & Train instructors, is designed specifically for beginners.

The sessions take place twice a day and last 1.5 hours each. Participants will learn and practice essential riding techniques in a structured and supportive environment – the perfect introduction to improving control, confidence, and overall riding skills.

Training will take place either on the Baby Track or on the ground below the dealer area, depending on conditions. The meeting point for all participants is the Ride & Train tent.

Guided Track tours

Our Guided Track Tours, led by our ACT Ride & Train instructors, offer a great opportunity for riders who are not yet confident enough to enter the MX track on their own.

During these sessions, participants will be guided around the track for approximately 30 minutes, gaining valuable experience and building confidence in a safe and supportive environment.

Sign-up sheets for all training sessions will be available at the ACT Info tent each evening from 18:00.

Geo catching

Our Geo Caching Challenge adds a spirit of adventure to your weekend.

On Friday morning between 10:00 and 11:00, you can collect a set of POIs along with a GPX track at the ACT Info point. It’s up to you to upload both to your navigation device or app and set off to find the marked locations.

You will have until Saturday at 17:00 to visit the checkpoints and collect stamps at each station.

The winner will be determined by a random draw. The award ceremony for all our competitions will take place on Saturday at 18:30.

Guided Tours

Our Guided Tours will once again be part of the program, just as in previous years—this time in a slightly streamlined format.

Each day, we will offer two tours lasting approximately 1.5 hours each. Participation is limited to a maximum of 8 riders per tour to ensure a high-quality and enjoyable experience for everyone.

workshops & Talks

Our Workshops & Talks will once again be part of this year’s program, and we’re excited to offer valuable insights and inspiration.

Confirmed so far are sessions by Garmin and Navcademy, providing expert guidance on navigation and safety. In addition, Marc von Papen will share stories and experiences from his journey along ACT Montebania, while Mirco & Piet will host an additional workshop on roadbook navigation. If you’re interested and have the necessary equipment, you’re welcome to pick up the roadbook for the guided Eifel tour at the ACT Info tent and ride the route independently at your own pace.

If you have further ideas or suggestions for workshops or talks, feel free to reach out to the ACT office.

Test rides

Our Test Rides are back again this year, and we’re excited to offer some great opportunities to try out new equipment.

Touratech Suspension will be available for testing, with three motorcycles provided to put the suspension through its paces on the MX track. Liability waivers for these test rides will be available from Thomas at the Touratech stand.

KTM has also confirmed their support with additional test rides on the track. The exact number of motorcycles is still to be announced—we’ll keep you updated.

It should be small but nice.
We have therefore asked our partners to help shape the ACT Camp and are looking forward to the participation of:
  • Touratech
  • KTM
  • Garmin
  • NavCademy
  • NEXX

and more

Member Feedback:

Dear ACT Team,

I would like to thank you for a relaxed, friendly and exciting weekend.
You planned it really well and also implemented it very well. I felt really comfortable, simply chatted to other participants to exchange ideas and everyone got involved. Super.
We discussed, laughed, sweated and drank (alcohol-free) together. And of course we also cycled together 😉

I am very grateful to have met so many new and nice people. I grew beyond myself this weekend and trust myself on my motorbike more than ever before.

Also a big thank you to MSC Kleinau.
Very kind and helpful people who actively supported this event with food and drink. I’ll certainly be going back here to train from time to time.

Your sponsors were always very helpful and open to discussion, which helped me move forward.

Suggestion: Name stickers for us so that we don’t have to remember all the names 😉

Best regards
Dirk
