Track issues

How to support

It is not just after the winter season, but also during the season, that a track changes due to restrictions and bad weather. We must certainly take a closer look at restriction signs and permanent closures; the same applies when a storm sweeps through a region and renders half the track impassable. We are a strong community, but one that truly thrives and grows stronger only through you.

To enable us to identify the nature of the problem straight away, we ask that you consider the following questions in advance.

WHERE? Please check your GPS and note down the coordinates of the obstruction. Unlike coordinates, place names or street names are not exact but merely approximate. Whether you have the track on your mobile phone or in a GPS device – even Google Maps can show you the exact coordinates, which are incredibly valuable for further investigation.

WHAT? What happened? Did you speak to any locals? Are there any signs providing further information? Can you estimate how long the problem might persist?

PHOTOS? Are you able to take a photo and send it to us?

ALTERNATIVE? What was your solution? Which alternative route did you ride? Where did you rejoin the track?

For any minor difficulties (snow at higher altitudes, muddy tracks, roadworks) that help make the track the adventure you’ll remember later, you can of course contact us directly, but the ACT Forum would also appreciate a quick update.

We’d like to say THANK YOU in advance for every single piece of feedback that helps us keep the tracks as up to date as possible.

RIDE. RESPECT. ENJOY
